Thriller mastermind Vikram Bhatt, who has made Raaz, 1920 and 1921 over the years, will return to the big screen with TV actress Nia Sharma. The director, who recently launched an app on the Web, will begin shooting his film later this year. Riding on the success of the app and series like Untouchables and Twisted — hits with the audience — Vikram’s new offering will be… what else, a thriller. 

The male lead hasn’t been decided yet, but Nia, the Twisted actress, has been chosen. A spokesperson said: “Vikram Bhatt has just begun planning his next film after the success of his OTT platform. He has signed Nia Sharma, the actress from the web series Twisted 2. While details of the film are being etched out, the actress and director will be coming together for their first full-length feature. Vikram wants to surprise audiences not only with the story but also with Nia’s look.” 

The actress will also be seen in the upcoming sequel of the hit series Twisted. It will tell the story of Aliya Mukherji, framed in the murder of her boyfriend Vinod.
