t2 set out on an exotic culinary trail with The Grand Trunk Road buffet at We.Desi, which has begun at the Camac Street outlet March 4 onwards. This buffet is an attempt to trace the different cuisines and flavours that can be mapped along the Grand Trunk Road. “Starting from Kabuli and Pashtuni cuisine in the first week, and meandering through Kashmiri, Awadhi, Punjabi, Bengali and other cuisines, the buffet’s menu will be a reflection of the different cuisines found along the route. I guess it was a good spin to the idea of a lunch buffet,” said Nikhil Bhambani, MD, Shenaz Hospitality Pvt Ltd, who came up with the theme of the buffet.
