From Sonali Bendre to Sara Ali Khan, Bollywood celebrities have always showcased their passion for reading on social media. Right from partition literature to Haruki Murakami’s works, here’s a look at popular stars and their favourite books in 2023.

Sonali Bendre, who has been running a book club on Instagram since 2017, read a lot of Partition literature and modern fiction last year. The actress introduced her fans to Ann Patchett’s 2019 novel The Dutch House, describing it as “a dark fairy tale about two smart people who cannot overcome their past”.
