Our society is full of unsung and unheard heroes. They do their bit selflessly and always try to help as many people as possible. One such name on the list is Shweta Patil, the beautiful lady with a golden heart. Shweta has seen lots of struggles in her life. And, she used those experiences as fuel to lighten her road to success. She has overcome all these obstacles and has emerged as a promising name. This is the major reason she connects her with the society. We can often see her indulged in several social activities. Being associated with education awareness, she is the ambassador of Avtar Education Trust, The Fort, Jagatpura, Mohali. She works as a frontliner for the education of underprivileged kids.
In the current scenario of COVID 19, Avtar Education Trust with the collaboration of Shweta Patil and Ambassadors of Hope (an NGO) is doing a commendable job. Recently they have organized a free COVID 19 vaccination drive for the underprivileged people of Jagatpura along with several nearby villages. The vaccination drive was organized in memory of Late Sardar Hardeep Singh Sandhu. He was the Senior Trustee and Chairman of Avtar Education Trust.
The frontline workers, the private security guards, and society chowkidars got vaccinated on a priority basis so that they can serve with utmost safety and precautions.
Several notable persons like Col Jasdeep Sandhu, Director, Civil-Military affairs, Western Command, Chandimandir for all his support and guidance have joined their hands with Shweta Patil's initiative. She has entrusted that many more such drives will be organizing soon in different regions to help people fight the ill effects of this pandemic.
Shweta's work for society and people is praiseworthy. She says "my commitment to my social duties remains a priority" and it seems too. She gets inspiration for her charity works from her father. She always says- It's never too late, always be positive and trust your own feelings.She is surely the "Lady with the Golden Heart". We wish her all the luck for her upcoming projects and future endeavors.
