Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu trained under The Family Man Season 2 action director Yannick Ben for her upcoming action-thriller Yashoda, set for a November 11 release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Kannada.

Samantha played a dreaded insurgent, Raji, in the action-packed Prime Video’s series The Family Man 2, and Yannick was the man behind her action sequences in the Manoj Bajpayee-headlined show.
The 35-year-old actress, who recently won applause for her sensational dance number Oo Antava from the film Pusha: The Rise, will be seen as a solo-lead in Yashoda, directed by Hareesh Narayan and K. Hari Shankar.
Samantha is also gearing up for her big Hollywood project Citadel, a Russo Brothers-directed science fiction drama alongside Varun Dhawan and Priyanka Chopra. Citadel will premiere on Prime Video. She will be seen in another English feature film, Arrangements of Love, directed by Philip John.
Back home, Samantha’s Telugu films Khushi and Shaakuntalam are lined up for release.
