This is chat mangni pat shaadi in the truest sense of the term. Director Rohan Sippy (Kuch Na Kaho, Bluffmaster!) proposed to his girlfriend Roopa De Choudhury a few days back and on November 9 they signed on the dotted line. A small get-together with friends and family followed for the son of Ramesh Sholay Sippy.

This is Rohan’s second marriage. He was earlier married to scriptwriter Rohena Gera. They got divorced back in 2003.

Roopa, who was the production consultant for Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited, worked on the Rohan-produced Chandni Chowk to China as line producer.

Rohan is starting his next directorial venture by the end of the year. Scripted by Shridhar Raghavan (Khakee, Bluffmaster!), the twistled little thriller will star (buddy) Abhishek Bachchan. So, it will only start after Chhota B is done with Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.
