Now, this is a coincidence too close for comfort. You have heard of same movie titles but have you ever heard of same character names in two different films? Well, Ajay Devgn (he has officially dropped the ‘a’ from his surname) and Ranbir Kapoor have the same name in All The Best and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

And what is the name? Prem naam hai mera, Prem Chopra. Both Ajay and Ranbir are called Prem Chopra in their forthcoming biggies. While Ajay’s character is actually named after the yesteryear villain, Ranbir adopts the name for one elaborate gag in the film.

Both All The Best and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani are billed as crazy comedies, one directed by Rohit Shetty and the other by Rajkumar Santoshi. Santoshi had earlier directed Ajay in his National Award-winning film The Legend of Bhagat Singh.

Ajay as Prem romances Bipasha Basu in All The Best (picture above). Ranbir as Prem romances Katrina Kaif in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

All The Best is a Diwali release, arriving in theatres on October 16 and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani will release three weeks later, on November 6. We have to wait and see which actor brings on the bigger laughs as the bad, bad Prem Chopra.
