Barcode Pool Party hit a hat-trick high on June 12, this time at Pride Hotel (Rajarhat) in association with t2. With an indoor pool, complimentary shots for women and fire-juggling bartenders, this was one party that sure created a splash. “The idea was to create a fun event. Besides Barcode regulars, we saw a lot of party people from Sector V and Rajarhat,” said Gurdeep Chawla, who organised Barcode Pool Party along with partner Raunak Gupta. The poison picks for the night were vodka and beer, while Green Chilli Chicken moved the fastest among starters. And the top numbers? I Took A Pill In Ibiza, I Need Your Love, Sorry, Kar gayi chull, Let’s nacho.

There may have been only one pool, but the line-up was anything but scanty with artistes like DJ Sami-s-clef, Digital Attack, DJ Jimmy (inset) and Raj Roy. And that meant lots of banging beats on the console and plenty of grooving in the pool and out of it too! “I played a lot of trap music and hip-hop and in between there was a mix of Bolly songs,” said Jimmy.
