Actress Parineeti Chopra on Thursday re-shared a video posted by her husband, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha, in which he outlined several key issues he had raised in Parliament till date.

The post comes hours after the AAP replaced him as the deputy leader of the party in the Upper House of Parliament and informed the Parliament secretariat of the change on Thursday.

In the video, Raghav addressed a wide range of concerns, including the tax burden on the middle class, paternity leave, minimum balance penalties in banks, food adulteration, incoming call charges, recharge scams, airline excess baggage fees, exam paper leaks, air pollution, GST on health insurance, exploitation of gig workers, delays in insurance claim settlements, alleged irregularities at toll plazas and data privacy breaches.

Parineeti re-shared the video on her Instagram Story to show her support. However, the story was later deleted by her.

Recently, when Raghav addressed paternity leave at the parliament, the actress re-shared the video with a note. “My dearest husband, You spoke today not just as an MP but as the dad, I see every single day. We have discussed this so many times. How our baby deserves both parents to be present - to the best of their ability. So when you spoke today, it wasn’t just policy. It was built from the way you parent our child the way you show up without being asked, the way you understand that parenting is shared, not assigned,” she wrote on Instagram.

After the replacing on Thursday, Raghav shared a video on X with the caption, “Silenced, not defeated.”

Parineeti and Raghav, who tied the knot in Rajasthan in September 2023, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Neer, on October 19, 2025.

On the work front, Parineeti is set to mark her web debut with Netflix's next thriller series, yet untitled.
