Actress Mouni Roy has dropped behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Dibakar Banerjee’s Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2, currently running in theatres. Here’s a look.
A candid shot shows Mouni going through the script with director Dibakar Banerjee. The 38-year-old actress looked stunning in a red one-shoulder gown.
“Did a special appearance for Dibakar sir’s dark, gritty, gripping affair. It’s madness & mayhem. So happy for the entire team. Also was very excited to re unite with my dearest @ektarkapoor ma’am @balajitelefilmslimited felt like coming home. Congratulations to the entire team. And all of you who haven’t seen the film yet. Go go go. It’s running in the theatres near you,” Mouni captioned her post on Instagram.
Mouni plays a cameo in the film, a sequel to Banerjee’s 2010 crime thriller of the same name, alongside Uorfi Javed, Tusshar Kapoor and Sophie Choudry.
The movie brings to the fore three different storylines involving the characters played by Paritosh, Bonita Rajpurohit and Abhinav Singh. The first involves a transgender woman Noor (Paritosh) facing off against other contestants of a reality show. The second storyline features another transgender woman, Kulu (Bonita), who gets heinously abused one night. The third storyline revolves around a leaked MMS of a school student (Abhinav), a popular gamer on YouTube.
Mouni exuded boss lady vibes as she strutted down the sets of Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2 in a black-and-white cut-out dress, complemented by black shades, a long trench coat and stiletto sandals adorned with rhinestones. The Gold actress recently appeared in the music video for Love Ya, sung by Diljit Dosanjh.
Released theatrically on April 19, Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2 is Banerjee’s bare-it-all take on TRP-driven reality shows and social media.
