Movie lovers are in for a treat this weekend with three Hindi, one Bengali and two English movies releasing on November 4. From survival drama to horror comedy, here’s a list of new movies that you can watch in theatres this weekend.



Directed by: Mathukutty Xavier

Cast: Janhvi Kapoor Kapoor, Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Suri

Mili is a remake of Mathukutty’s Malayalam movie Helen. This survival drama revolves around Mili (Janhvi Kapoor), a 24-year-old BSc graduate, who gets trapped in a freezer. How she fights to stay alive inside the freezer forms the crux of the film.

Phone Bhoot

Directed by: Gurmmeet Singh

Cast: Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ishaan Khatter, Jackie Shroff

This horror comedy is a story of two friends (Siddhant and Ishaan) who pretend to be ghostbusters in order to earn a living. But their lies soon become true when a girl (Katrina), too beautiful to be a ghost, appears in front of them, but is not visible to anyone else. The trio agree to help each other but the boys find themselves pitted against an evil sorcerer (Shroff).

Double XL

Directed by: Satram Ramani

Cast: Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Mahat Raghavendra

Aspiring sports presenter Rajshree Trivedi (Huma) and fashion designer Saira Khanna (Sonakshi) get rejected for their plus size. They team up to mutually help each other find success. Through their journey towards personal ambitions, they also intend to teach the world a lesson. Double XL features team India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan in a special number.

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile

Directed by: Will Speck

Cast: Shawn Mendes, Javier Bardem, Constance Wu, Winslow Fegley, Scoot McNairy, Brett Gelman

An adaptation of the best-selling book series by Bernard Waber, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is a live-action musical comedy. When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh (Winslow Fegley) struggles to adapt to his new life. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle —a singing crocodile (Shawn Mendes)— in the attic of his new home. The two become best friends, but Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbour Mr Grumps (Brett Gelman).

Mrs Harris Goes To Paris

Directed by: Anthony Fabian

Cast: Lesley Manville, Lucas Bravo, Jason Isaacs, Rose Williams

Set in 1950s London, this historical comedy drama tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady, who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress. Aspiring to have one for her own, she works hard to raise the funds to pursue her dream, and then embarks on an adventure to Paris that will change not only her own outlook but also the very future of the House of Dior.

Sannyasi Deshonayok

Directed by: Amlan Kusum Ghosh

Cast: Victor Banerjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Locket Chatterjee

A group of students decide to make a documentary on the Gumnami Baba theory, attempting to find the truth behind the idea that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose spent the remainder of his life in the guise of a sadhu. What starts as a research project gets them involved in sinister events, some of which are even life threatening.
