Filmmaker Hansal Mehta called Kareena Kapoor Khan a “powerhouse” performer in an Instagram post on Thursday and likened her to actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Pratik Gandhi and Rajkummar Rao when it comes to pulling off difficult scenes with ease.
The Scam 1992 director shared behind-the-scenes pictures with Kareena from the sets of his yet-to-be-titled film and wrote, “She is such a delight to work with. A privilege directing this powerhouse. Had as much fun and joy doing some very difficult scenes with her as I've had with Rajkummar (Rao), Manoj (Bajpayee) or Pratik (Gandhi)... This one has been special @kareenakapoorkhan.”
Mehta is shooting with Kareena in London, United Kingdom. The pictures revealed some memorable moments from the sets of the film.
Known for delivering classics like City Lights and Omerta, Mehta said that the storyline of this film is quite unique and will be worth the wait. The film revolves around a police procedural murder mystery.
The film also marks Kareena’s debut as producer. She has joined hands with Ekta Kapoor for this project.
