Actress Amy Adams has said she needs to know the background of a character before she can embody it on screen. Femalefirst reported that the Arrival star said that it adds to her performance if she can give her character a good back story. “For each character, I build a psychological back story from the age of around three — I’ll imagine their whole life leading up to the present day,” Adams, who most recently starred in HBO series Sharp Objects where she played Camille Preaker, an emotionally troubled reporter who returns to her hometown to cover the murder of two young girls, said.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a guest appearance in Kajol’s upcoming film Helicopter Eela! Kajol and Big B are reuniting after their 2001 family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.... Pradeep Sarkar has directed Helicopter Eela! and Bachchan will play himself. “There is a particular scene for which we needed him, so we requested him to play this part. It is an important scene and Mr Bachchan agreed to do this since he has worked with me before and is also close to Ajay and Kajol,” Sarkar said in a statement. The film, which deals with parenting and generation gap, has Kajol playing a single mother to National Award-winning actor Riddhi Sen. It releases on September 7.
