They had set the screen on fire with the film Herogiri! Now Mithun Chakraborty and Dev have come together for Dance Dance Junior Season 2, set to air from January 16, every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30pm on Star Jalsha. The show marks the return of Mithun on television. The star as Mahaguru will help shortlist the best dancing talent and bring them to the mega platform. Dev and Monami Ghosh will don the judges’ hat this season of Dance Dance Junior. Mithun will also be involved in guiding the young ones through their journey to be the next dancing superstar. “Dance can change lives,” said Mithun in the promo of the show.

“The participants are terrific. The level of dedication, confidence that they exude is something worth saying. It is going to be a tough season for the judges because it will be very difficult to choose who to eliminate,” said Dev at a recent virtual press meet.

The show is being produced by Subhankar Chattopadhyay Productions, a production house in Bengal, which has successfully introduced a diverse range of non-fiction-format shows and events in Bengali entertainment. “Dance Dance Junior Season 2 will be special. We have worked really hard to find amazing talent and then groomed them for the ultimate stage. We are also introducing a dazzling set, special cameras, unique and engaging content structure to ensure a truly enriching visual experience,” said Subhankar.

The first season had successfully captured the imagination of the masses as it provided a platform for aspiring dancers.
