Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival on May 16 in a custom black-and-white Falguni Shane Peacock gown, designed to complement the white plaster on her right arm. Here’s a look at her stunning ensemble.

The black corsetted gown featured dramatic white puff sleeves and a 3D rose stitched to the waistline of the ensemble.

The highlight of Aishwarya’s outfit was the gold accents with molten gold detailing on the bust.

A floor-sweeping train adorned with hand-beaten gold flowers also accentuated her ensemble.

For her makeup, Aishwarya chose winged eyeliner and a nude pink lip colour. She styled her hair in an updo with brown highlights, deviating from her middle-parted straight-hair look.

To complete her look, the 50-year-old actress wore golden half-hoop earrings.

Aishwarya was accompanied by her daughter Aaradhya Rai Bachchan at the event.

Aishwarya has been a regular at the Cannes Film Festival since her 2002 debut for her hit film Devdas.
