Meat lovers, sit up and smell the brown sauce. The next time you’re craving a hunk of delicious meat, head to The Wise Owl Steakhouse. It’s a great terrace space, with wood-panelling and wooden furniture, as you’d imagine a steak house to be. Even the music is tweaked according to the taste of the diners present.

“As a foodie, I realised there are two things Calcutta didn’t have —  classic steaks and a great, affordable rooftop space. So now we have The Wise Owl Steakhouse; pocket-friendly fine-dining,” said Souvik Ghose Chaudhuri, proprietor. 

The steakhouse is open only during the evening these days to ensure the heat won’t ruin your experience of a juicy steak.

On the menu: Steaks — beef, pork, fish, chicken as well as cottage cheese — burgers, pastas and salads. There are plenty of options for vegetarians, especially in the pasta section. Choose your sauce with your steak from apple and cider, brown, barbecue, red wine, and mushroom and cream.
