(L-R) Stylist Neha Gandhi, wellness coach Vidhi Beri and make-up pro Abhijit Chanda addressed the woes that are an inseparable part of every wedding. Vidhi spoke about the importance of post-wedding detox as well as detoxing the mind. “It is important to understand wellness as a balance of energies, as our bodies are charged with both positive and negative energy,” she said.

Neha spoke about her love for saris. “The Indian bride is the most beautiful bride in the world, and I think she looks best in a sari.” For her, royal blue was a “good alternative” to the regular red. How to make sure your lehnga stays relevant years after your wedding? “Maybe team up the choli with a monochrome lehnga, or the lehnga with a plain choli or jacket,” she said.

Abhijit spoke about how 95 per cent brides wanted a “natural” look. Mascara, a good lip colour and well-groomed eyebrows will see you through.

Top tips for summer

Wear comfortable shoes. Keep your jeans or pants ankle-up — Neha

Avoid anything sticky, like a cream blush or kohl pencils. Be sure to not over-cake your foundation, or else the moisture will make your face more oily — Abhijit

Have your fruits in the morning. Vegetable juices or a lemon concoction always help cleanse your system. Keep yourself hydrated at all times — Vidhi

Anvesha cut the anniversary  cake with mom-in-law and Palki co-director Lata Harlalka.
The two-day celebrations wrapped up with a fashion show.
