If you are one of those who have an ultra sensitive skin then these products might just be perfect for you. Kaya Skin Clinic has just launched its Sensitive Skin Line complete with a face cleanser, moisturiser and a sunscreen (with SPF 15). Derived from natural fatty acids, the cleanser is especially formulated for sensitive facial skin. Priced at Rs 600 for a 200ml bottle, this mild, soap-free cleanser promises to cleanse without causing dryness or irritation.

The aloe vera and almond oil rich moisturiser also aims to nourish the skin. A 50ml bottle will set you back by Rs 700. The sunscreen is non-greasy and hydrates the skin, prevents pigmentation and leaves a matte finish on the face. It is priced at Rs 750 for a 50ml bottle.

Sweet nothings

Some Rakhi giftables are likely to be the flavour of the season. This Rakhi, MamaMia Gelato introduced some palate tingling flavours. But if you haven’t checked them out so far, it’s not too late. You could make you way to any MamaMia outlet, including the newest one at Mani Square, and give yourself up to some new flavours.

It’s worth trying out the frozen desserts in the Miniature Frozen Mousse range. These are handmade and are served bite-size. Chocoholic is recommended — a mix of dark chocolate and vanilla mousse that’s drizzled with melted chocolate and roasted almonds.

There’s also an assortment of gelato cakes you could opt for. These come in flavours like wild berries, choco, orange, tiramisu and Ferrero Rocher. You can add a

message to give the cakes a personal touch. The cakes are priced between Rs 300 and Rs 800. A gift voucher can be purchased for Rs 201 or Rs 501.

Wine time

Do you associate wine with very special occasions? But what if it’s just another ordinary day and you feel like wine anyway?

And no, you don’t want to spend extravagantly on a frighteningly

expensive Chardonnay. Zinzi, from United Spirits of the UB Group, which has just been launched in Calcutta, is perhaps perfect for such just-like-that moments.

Modestly priced at Rs 275 for a 750ml bottle and Rs 150 for a 350ml bottle, Zinzi targets the young and happening crowd.

It’s a zesty wine with fresh, fruity notes and while the Zinzi red wine is a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel grape

varieties the white is a blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.

So if you feel like quaffing back a glass or two — just because it’s raining or maybe because it isn’t — you know exactly what you could pick up.
