With just two days to go, it’s time to swagat the new year with swag just like Saima Wohra at Myx. In a red woollen dress, boots and a woollen cap, Saima’s style and dance step game was strong. “Katrina (Kaif) and Salman Khan look great in Swag se swagat! The swagat step is one of the easiest ever,” she said.

1997’s Judwaa or 2017’s Judwaa 2 — there is no missing the tan ta na tan step from Chalti hai kya 9 se 12. We spotted Astamita Das rocking the dance floor matching steps to the Judwaa 2 number. “This is the good old step, how can one forget it? All you need to do is stand at one place and move your hands from left to right rhythmically,” she showed us.

Maahi Nashkar showed off some Arabic moves. The song she grooved to? Laila main Laila from Raees. “This is one of the most sensuous songs of the year and all it requires is to sway your hands gently while doing some slow belly dancing,” said the Roxy regular.

Which is Rima Guha Thakurta’s fave dance step of 2017? “Tamma tamma again from Badrinath Ki Dulhania takes the cake for me. I love how they modified the old song but kept the signature step intact,” said the model at Myx.

Twerking and grinding her way on the dance floor, Rhea Jordon danced the night away to the biggest party track of 2017 — Despacito, the Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee number. “The song is the most watched number on YouTube for a reason!” said the college student, clubbing at Roxy.

Top 5 TRACKS

“I love dancing when partying. So my personal party music picks of 2017 are Mi Gente (J Balvin, Willy William) and Aa toh sahii (Judwaa 2). I ensure I dance to either one when I am out clubbing,” said Priyanka Pal at M Bar Kitchen.

“This is my final year of school so I would pick Castle On The Hill by Ed Sheeran. The track talks about growing up and friendship and I can totally connect to it. Another song that gets me dancing is Shakey Shakey by Daddy Yankee,” said Jahnavi Biyani at M Bar Kitchen.

This trio at M Bar Kitchen had some serious #StyleGoals. If Sohini Dutta (left) went bling in a sequinned dress, Sruti Ball (centre) slayed in a midi skirt, mesh top from H&M and a Moschino belt. The last of the trio, Navdha Bihani, rocked a midi dress. “The song of the year is Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You. The beats get you grooving and the lyrics are so nice that you can sing along!” said Sruti, a fashion designer.

Wearing the colour of the season, red, Gloria Ruth Gomez turned up the hotness meter in a strappy floral dress teamed with thigh-high boots and killer heels. “I really loved 2U (David Guetta ft. Justin Bieber) and Hey Ma (Pitbull & J Balvin ft. Camila Cabello) because these two are such mood-lifting tracks. These songs help me de-stress,” Gloria said at Roxy.

Sexy and groovy, Suman Airish Barik’s pick of 2017 is Wild Thoughts. “This is a very my-kind-of song because you can’t stop grooving to it. I like songs that allow you to be who you are! And DJ Khalid and Rihanna’s Wild Thoughts lyrics are really strong with that,” said Suman.
