AGA KHAN FOUNDATION
What is it: The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies. These are given to outstanding students from select developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies, in order to develop effective scholars and leaders and to prepare them for employment, primarily within the Aga Khan Development Network. AKDN is a network of private, non-denominational development agencies founded by the Aga Khan, which works primarily in the poorest parts of Asia and Africa.
Who can apply: Primarily students of Master's courses, but AKF also considers applications for PhD programmes in case of outstanding students who are recommended for doctoral studies by their professors and who need a PhD for the fulfilment of their career objectives.

THE NAROTAM SEKHSARIA FOUNDATION
What is it: The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation awards interest-free loan scholarships (a maximum of Rs 20 lakh) to Indian students with a consistently good academic record.
Who can apply: Graduate students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in the fields of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management at prestigious Indian and international universities.

K.C. MAHINDRA
What is it: The trustees of K.C. Mahindra is offering interest-free loan scholarships to Indian nationals for pursuing postgraduate studies abroad.
Who can apply: First-class graduates as well as those in the final year of degree or diploma courses are eligible. Candidates must have secured admission in or have applied to reputable foreign universities.
