What is it: Scholarships for graduate students who aspire to take up postgraduation, doctoral or post-doctoral programmes
Who can apply: Graduates in any stream from a government-recognised university or institution. Mid-career professionals are also eligible as long as they are not older than 45 years. All applicants should have academic brilliance and work experience in the chosen industry. For overseas applications, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL or IELTS clearance is mandatory

Inspire (SHE)
What is it: The Department of Science and Technology, India, aims at encouraging talented youth to undertake higher education in science- intensive programmes. Both scholarships and mentorship are provided
Who can apply: Students who topped in Class XII from state or central boards; students admitted to IISER, NISER, DAE-CBS at the university of Mumbai or are KVPY, NTSE, Olympiad medallists and JBNSTS scholars, opting to undertake a course in natural or basic sciences leading to BSc and MSc degrees; students who secured ranks in IIT-JEE (within 10,000), AIEEE (top 20,000) and those who cleared CBSE-Medical and opted to study natural or basic sciences

Marubeni India
What is it: Marubeni India is offering scholarships of Rs 40,000 to college students.
Who can apply: Those pursuing a professional or technical course from any recognised educational institute in Punjab, including Chandigarh, with a minimum 75 per cent in Class XII. Annual income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
