ERASMUS IN SCHOOL

What is it: Scholarships for young individuals across the world who are interested in becoming a language assistant in one of the selected educational institutions. The total number of scholarships provided is 100 and the objective of these scholarships is to give an opportunity to the applicants to share their culture, through language teaching. The scholarship will include EUR750 per month, outbound and return flights. Visa expenses, health insurance and accommodation cost not included

Who can apply: Candidates between 18 and 30 years of age. Must have a sound knowledge of English. Have to chose only those schools or companies that are registered with the Erasmus in School portal, for working as a language assistant.

THE NOVUS BIOLOGICALS

What is it: This is a scholarship for students who are interested in developing a career in science. A $1,500 (or international currency equivalent) scholarship will be awarded to one student for the fall and spring semesters

Who can apply: Students who have a major in a science-related field. They must also be enrolled - or have been accepted for enrollment - in baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma

EXAM

NATIONAL TALENT SEARCH

What is it: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) invites applications for the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE 2018). There will be two levels of examinations: Level 1 is a state level exam and once the student qualifies in level 1, he or she will be eligible to apply for the level 2, or national level, exam. The examination dates will be decided by the respective states

Who can apply: Current students of Class X. Four per cent seats are reserved for the physically challenged
