I so look forward to Sunday that I begin preparing for it the day before. Come Saturday evening and I try to keep myself relatively free in order to spend as much time as possible with my family. I especially enjoy the slow pace of things on Sundays.

Sometimes we do get invitations for parties over the weekend and these are usually the ones we just can?t refuse. Also, the nature of my work is such that I have to attend these events. But an ideal Sunday evening is having dinner with the rest of my family members or even being a little adventurous by going out to eat. That said, my favourite restaurant in Mumbai is Mainland China simply because I love Chinese food.

I?ve been in the music industry for a long time now and music takes up most of my time through the week. But being a passion, I still tune into old Hindi melodies on the weekend too ? definitely a great way to relax. I also make it a point to read the newspaper and catch up on the latest happenings as I?m generally hard-pressed for time from Monday to Friday.

Sunday is also the day when I can catch up on some extra sleep. There?s nothing better I like than to curl up on the sofa with a book in hand. To me, a perfect weekend is one that finds me snoozing as much I want. This helps me to mentally prepare for the pressures of the week ahead. I also do a bit of writing in the afternoon usually between 2 pm and 5 pm. But if I?m just not in the mood, then I turn to the television and watch something or the other.
