A Time For Friends And Fun AS TOLD TO CHITRA PAPNAI Published 17.12.05, 12:00 AM

Being a director, I hardly get any leisure time during the weekends, be it a Saturday or a Sunday. Professionally, it gets to be too much of burden for a 24-year-old at times. But if I do manage to steal some time away from my busy schedule, I spend it with my girlfriend and usually leave it to her to decide where to go. She often gets angry with me because we don’t get enough time together, so I try to make up for it whenever possible.

On weekends, partying with friends is always great fun. I also love to eat out and am not fussy about food. I can enjoy anything from simple dal-roti to tandoori chicken.

How I long to play cricket! And if I’m free on a weekend, I’d love to catch up with friends and play cricket like I used to when I had all the time in the world. But if I’m at home, you’ll usually find me sitting glued to my playstation. As far as shopping goes, I don’t go out and shop on weekends. It’s usually my sister who shops for me.

Over the weekend, I usually hang out with a huge gang of people, which includes many from work as well. I also spend a lot of time with my associate director and good friend Kunal Deshmukh.

In my spare time, I also indulge in a bit of cooking. Though I must admit, that the only thing I cook well is Maggi noodles.

Also, I am not a mountain person and simply love the beach. So, if I were to get a free weekend, I’d definitely plan a trip to Goa
