Need for Speedo: Popular swimwear brand Speedo launched its 23rd store in India at Forum Courtyard (Elgin Road), on January 19. The basement store spread across 800sq ft stocks a range of swimwear and accessories like kickboards, swimming goggles and skullcaps.

“Swimming has slowly evolved into a life skill now and India is one of the fastest growing markets when it comes to swimwear and swimming gear. With Speedo coming to Calcutta, I believe the city’s swimming enthusiasts will relish the feel of top-class swim gear that Speedo promises, and we have high hopes from this region,” said Shamir Genomal, chief strategic officer, Speedo India.
