Calcutta, July 27: MSR IT Solution is looking to garner a 30 per cent jump in revenue by providing technology services to the hospitality sector.

The 100-per cent subsidiary of UK-based technology firm MS Research Ltd will invest about Rs 8 crore to develop a 38,000- square-feet greenfield facility at Rajarhat. The company will begin operations in this plant from January 2014.

This will be MSR’s second facility in the city. It has an offshore development centre at Sector 5, Salt Lake. It specialises in providing tailored solutions through business process integration.

“We will set up another delivery centre at Rajarhat. This should accommodate 400 people. We now have 200 people, of which 150 are in India. By January, we will employ 300 people,” said Mita Chakraborty, managing director, MSR IT Solution.

“Land was given to us in 2008 and we got possession a little later. We started construction in 2012. By early next year, we should be able to make a transition to that facility. We have aggressive targets. This year, we should grow by 25-30 per cent. Our revenues stand at Rs 50 crore,” she said.
