Maruti Suzuki India has launched its entry hatchback Alto K10 as a commercial vehicle under its Tour portfolio under the brand name Tour H1.
The Tour portfolio also has the Wagon R under the brand name Tour H3, the Maruti Dzire as the Tour S, the Ertiga as Tour M and the Eeco as Tour V, which are widely used in the fleet segment.
The Tour range are passenger movers. such as cabs. The company also has cargo vehicles in its commercial vehicle portfolio, which includes the Supercarry and the Eeco Cargo.
These vehicles are sold through a separate channel, Maruti Suzuki Commercial.
The company claimed that the new Tour H1 is the most fuel-efficient entry-level commercial hatchback in the country. It has new exteriors, interiors, convenience and safety features. It comes equipped with the Next-Gen K-series 1.0L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine.
Shashank Srivastava, senior executive officer, marketing and sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The Tour H1 carries on the legacy and trust built by the Alto K10 for the commercial segment.
“It comes equipped with the Next-Gen K 10C engine, fresh interiors and exteriors, and a host of comfort, convenience, and safety features.
“Maruti Suzuki has vehicles in the Tour edition across segments, including hatchback, sedan and Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV).
“This new addition is aimed at offering more affordable options and expanding choices for the customers in the commercial channel.”
