Mumbai, May 5: Three public sector lenders — the Bank of Baroda (BoB), Bank of India and Dena Bank — have upped their base and benchmark prime lending rates (BPLRs) by 0.5 per cent each with effect from tomorrow, the banks said in separate statements here today. BoB and Bank of India’s base and BPLR will stand at 10 per cent and 14.25 per cent, respectively. Dena Bank’s base rate has been increased to 9.95 per cent, while its BPLR will go up to 15 per cent.

New Delhi, May 5: Mumbai International Airport has approached the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) seeking permission to charge airport development fees from passengers. The move follows the Supreme Court ruling that only the AERA has the power to allow Delhi and Mumbai airports to collect the fee.
