| Elke Runte, a German social activist, interacts with the students of Antarjyoti Netraheen Balika Vidyalaya (a residential school for visually impaired) at Kumhrar in Patna on Thursday. Runte, visually challenged herself, spent the day with the students of the school. She also attended several cultural programmes they had organised for her. Renu Kumari, the hostel warden, said Runte has been visiting the school for the past few years. “Most of the books in our Braille library have been provided by her. She is also very popular with the students who love her very much,” said Renu. Runte said she was happy to be associated with the school and would like to continue with her support.
