Patna, June 25: Everything is not written, especially in politics.
Though the BJP leadership is not in a haste to project its poster boy Sushil Kumar Modi as the party's chief ministerial candidate in the Assembly elections, he still remains the tallest and undisputed leader.
A galaxy of BJP leaders - right from the Centre to the state - will be at Vidyapati Bhavan where Union chemical and fertiliser minister and newly appointed Bihar BJP election-in-charge Ananth Kumar will unveil the book, Beech Samar Me (In the Midst of a Battle), written by Sushil, on Friday. A few days back, Ananth dropped a bomb on his visit to state claiming that "the BJP will contest Bihar polls in name of PM Modi".
Ananth's statement stirred a hornet's nest among state BJP leaders. But the likely presence of Ananth Kumar, Ravi Shankar Prasad (Union IT and communications minister), Radha Mohan Singh (Union agriculture minister) with state BJP president Mangal Pandey and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav is sure to give a message that Sushil virtually leads among all the leaders in Bihar BJP.
The book with a series of articles written by Sushil when he was in jail for 19 months during Emergency has its preface written by Union finance minister Arun Jaitley establishing his association with the power centre in Delhi. Jaitley has mentioned the relationship with Bihar's Modi since the Emergency.
What prompted him to write the book, Sushil said: "I was planning to write the book quite long and the book is compilation of series of articles written during the Emergency and Assembly speeches."
