Trader shot at
Patna, May 21: Unidentified criminals shot one Kundan Choudhary (30) at Pethia Bazaar under Danapur police station today. The incident took place around 9am.
Kundan, a vegetable seller by profession, was buying veggies from a wholesale market when around four men approached and shot him. The man has sustained three bullet injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital.

Patna: Leader of Opposition in Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav on Thursday said the JDU-RJD and Congress leaders are "worried at the increasing popularity of the BJP". Nand Kishore said the leaders of all these parties are now making request to former Mahadalit chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi "to save their identity".

Gaya: Police on Thursday recovered firearms, including rifles, 9mm pistol and cartridges, from Salempur village under Tekari police station area. Two persons have also been taken into custody.

Sasaram: A five-year-old girl was gang-raped and subsequently killed at Nasariganj in Rohtas district on Thursday night. Police said that three persons identified as Pintu, Gorakh Sao and Yashoda Devi have been arrested.

nSasaram: A leading contractor of Rohtas Manoj Kumar Singh was shot at and critically injured by unidentified armed criminals at Dalmianagar in Rohtas district.
