Motihari, July 8: At least 1,283 youths from the district bagged jobs with big companies at the “Niyojan Mela” (job fair) organised by the labour resource department on the premises of ITI (Indian Technical Institute).

Over 20 companies took part in the fair which concluded on Thursday evening.

A maximum of 379 youths were selected for the job of guards and watchmen in security companies. SIS (Security & Intelligence Services) remained the best employer, hiring nearly 300 jobseekers.

Shivam Spinning Mills, LIC, ICICI Prudential, Tata AIG and Bajaj Allianz were some of the other companies which participated in the fair.
