Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Saturday took a dig at chief minister Nitish Kumar, reminding him of his tweet of November 28, where he had taunted Lalu Prasad over the RJD chief's demand for additional security from the Centre.

Tejashwi retweeted Nitish's tweet on his own Twitter handle, attacking Nitish for getting Z-plus security after the Bihar government requested the ministry of home affairs for the same. The Leader of Opposition also posted a letter from the ministry of home affairs dated January 15, 2018, which says Nitish had been included in the list of Z-plus protectees on the state's request.

Attacking Nitish over the request for Z-plus security, Tejashwi dubbed him International Security Directorate.

"A few days ago, the supreme political saint was giving a sermon to the entire world on security," Tejashwi said. "The International Security Directorate should tell what kind of experience he wants to gain now."

He added: "On November 28, International Security Directorate was giving sermons to the world on security and this person himself applies to the Narendra Modi government for Z-plus security. He did so just five days after breaking the Grand Alliance on August 1, 2017. I think research should be done on his paltimar charitra (turncoat character)," Tejashwi said.

On November 28, Nitish had posted a tweet on his Twitter handle, taunting Lalu's demand for additional security from the Centre, and asserted that it showed how brave Lalu really was.

Nitish had made the remark after the Centre withdrew Lalu's NSG cover and RJD leaders alleged a conspiracy to kill their leader.

Nitish had tweeted: "Demanding NSG and CRPF security cover from the central government despite Z-plus and SSG (Special Security Group) protection provided by the state government indicates an affinity for throwing weight around in front of people, and a brave personality."

Tejashwi took a dig at Nitish in a similar way. "Apart from Z-plus security cover of the state government, 350 SSG jawans and 20 brand-new bullet-proof SUVs, you have requested the central government to enhance Z-plus comprising highly trained NSG and CRPF personnel. You have a personal residence in Delhi apart from Bihar Niwas and Bihar Bhavan, which indicates your simplicity, renunciation of worldly affairs, loneliness and over-courageous personality."
