Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had once praised then Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav by calling him Kishan Kanhaiya.

The same Kishan Kanhaiya on Monday threatened the Prime Minister by saying he will skin Modi if anything happens to his father Lalu Prasad.

Livid over the withdrawal of Lalu Prasad's NSG cover, Tej Pratap said: "Narendra Modi ji ka khaal udherdva lenge (will skin Narendra Modi)." He said it twice in a reply to a question from journalists on the Centre's withdrawal of the NSG cover to Lalu.

When asked about such a statement against the Prime Minister of India, Tej again lost his cool and said: "Will the media take responsibility if anything happens to my father? If my father is murdered who will take the responsibility? What do you think there is no value of my father's life? Only the life of PM is valuable? What about the life of people of Bihar? People of Bihar will teach him (read Modi) a lesson."

Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi came down heavily upon the insult of the Prime Minister and said: "Once Sonia Gandhi had called Narendra Modi Maut ka Saudagar (merchant of death). She had to repent for such a statement. Today the RJD has lost power and in the coming days they may lose the Assembly seats as well."
