A cultural team from Patiala performs bhangra during the inaugural day of the two-day Patna Sahib Mahotsav at Rajkiya Uchcha Vidyalaya in Patna City on Sunday. The event also witnessed performance by singer Master Salim, who has sung in films like Heyy Babyy, Dostana and Love Aaj Kal. Around 5,000 people attended the show. Food and consumer protection minister Shyam Rajak and tourism minister Javed Iqbal Ansari inaugurated the event. On Monday, noted Punjabi singers Rekha Raj and Bobby Siddhu would perform at the mahotsav. The tourism department has spent around Rs 35 lakh on organising the two-day Patna Sahib Mahotsav.
