Young hero…

Is Shweta, who was awarded the title, “Hero of the Month”, in September 2008 by United Nations at a conference in Norway. In April this year, she became the youngest achiever of the “Green Hero” award at CMS Vatavaran, an international environment and wildlife film fest.

Earth friend…

Is Shweta. In 2006, then a Class VII student of Carmel High School, she had met Father Robert Athickal, the chief co-ordinator of Tarumitra, during an inter-school event.

Guiding light…

For Shweta has been Father Robert Athickal. He has been a mentor to the youth as has been Father Joe of Tarumitra.

Mighty dreams…

Guide Shweta, who wants to become an IAS officer or a business tycoon. She also aims to start a chain of orphanages while continuing her work of spreading awareness about the environment.
