(From left) LJP MP Ram Chander Paswan, the younger brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, BJP state president Mangal Pandey, Union minister Ananth Kumar and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Nand Kishore Yadav raise arms at the inauguration of the new NDA office at SK Puri in Patna on Monday. It will function as the zonal office of the BJP and its allies— LJP, RLSP and HAMS. NDA leaders from the office will coordinate the campaign strategy and coordinate with the alliance workers. Similar type of offices would be set up in Muzaffarpur, Supaul and Begusarai. Ananth Kumar said: “The opening of the NDA office gives a message that we have good and cordial relations with our partners. On the other hand, the JDU, RJD and Congress alliance is yet to take shape. The big question for the state is not about Lalu and Nitish but its growth and development, which only the NDA can provide.” HAMS leader Brishen Patel was also present. However, there was no leader from Upendra Kushwaha’s RLSP.
