Shotgun is torn between Lahore and Mumbai.

Shatrughan Sinha admitted that he had never faced such a dilemma while planning to celebrate 31st December. On one hand, the actor-turned-MP has an unwritten rule that all his family members, including daughter-actress Sonakshi, have to be present at his Juhu bungalow, ‘Ramayan’ on New Year’s Eve every year. On the other, he has got an invitation this year from the family of former Pakistan president Gen. Md Zia-ul-Haq to attend the wedding of his grandson in Lahore.

“This year, I am in a dilemma. Zain Zia, the daughter of late Gen. Zia, has invited me for the wedding of her nephew. They are like my family members and I share a brother-sister relationship, which we have developed over many years, with Zain. I have visited Pakistan several times and I make sure to meet Zain whenever I am in the country,” he said before leaving Patna.

Asked if he goes to Pakistan to attend the wedding, how his family members would celebrate the New Year, Sinha said: “Sonakshi, wife Poonam, and my two sons Luv and Kush would visit Salman Khan’s house at Galaxy Apartment, Bandra. It would be a perfect occasion also to celebrate the record-breaking success of Dabangg 2.”

The actor, who dropped in at Zain’s family home during his last visit to Pakistan earlier this year, said: “The wedding is on January 1 in Lahore and reception on January 2 in Islamabad. To attend the wedding, I have to leave India on 31st night. I have a great emotional bond with Zain and unable to take a decision now.”
