The court issued the directive after PMC informed it of the fact that several manholes of the municipal area were not being maintained by it.

PMC counsel Prasoon Sinha informed the court on Thursday that the manholes located on SP Verma Road and Gandhi Maidan did not come under PMC's jurisdiction as Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BUIDCo), an agency of the urban development department, maintained them.
