Patna: The RLSP, a constituent of the BJP-led NDA, has demanded a meeting over seat sharing.

"We are going to face the Lok Sabha election next year and I think the NDA meeting on the seat distribution must be held," RLSP chief and Union minister of state for HRD Upendra Kushwaha said on Sunday.

In 2014, the RLSP won all three seats it got in Bihar, the LJP won six out of seven seats and the BJP won 22 seats out of 30. Chief minister Nitish Kumar's JDU was not part of the NDA then, but is now.

"Our leader has sent a clear message that he will not sacrifice any seats," a senior RLSP leader said.

Kushwaha also said there is lack of communication among the NDA partners.
