Jaisalmer, Sept. 13 (PTI): Baba Ramdev today termed Prime Minister Narendra Modi "vikas purush" (man of development) and said Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar's comparison with him is "not logical".
Ramdev was here to conduct yoga session with the Border Security Force (BSF) jawans. "Modi and Nitish's comparison is not logical. And in terms of development, Modi is vikas purush, while Nitish is too bauna (very small)," Ramdev told PTI here on the BSF campus.
"Bihar and its people have emerged above the caste lines, and now sushashan (good governance) is the election issue," he said. The Modi government should work hard to bring black money back to India. People want results on this, he advised.
Ramdev arrived at Jaislamer on Thursday and has been staying at the BSF guesthouse under heavy security. Yesterday, he went to the border, including Longewala, the iconic battleground of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Just before noon today, he left for Jodhpur.
On Friday, Ramdev told ABP News that Bihar was headed for a "perilously close fight" (kante ki takkar) and at the moment, neither Modi nor Nitish seemed to have an edge.
"It is difficult to say which of them is better placed because the fight is too close to call. He who manages to get the votes of the Dalits, Other Backward Classes and the poor can win the polls," Ramdev told the channel.
