Umesh Prasad Pani, the regional executive director (East-1), NTPC, inaugurates a representative union’s office, an old-age centre and a lake on his daylong visit to Deepti Nagar (Kahalgaon) on Friday. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Pani said: “Chhath devotees of Deepti Nagar now have one more lake where they can observe the festival, while the old-age centre will provide a good spot for the elderly willing to spend quality time with people of their age.” Pani also reviewed progress of various projects of NTPC, including a stadium and a marriage hall. Pani also discussed the all round development of its Kahalgaon unit with senior officials of NTPC.
