Review meet

Development Management Institute organised a curriculum review workshop at Udyog Bhavan on Friday.

Academics from various organisations were invited to discuss issues pertaining to the development of the institute and its students.

Debraj Behera and Paramveer Singh (consultants at World Bank), Vishwa Vijay and Mahua Roy Choudhary from Jeevika, Sunil Panday and R.P. Singh from Aga Khan Foundation, Eklavya Prasad from Megh Pyne Abhiyaan, S.B. Nadagouda from Digital Green, Kaushlendra from Samriddhi and Amar Nayak from Xavier's Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar, among others discussed roles that graduates from the institute could pursue.

They stressed on how fruits of development could reach the last layer of society.

The institute focuses on livelihoods of small producers and the marginalised and ensures betterment of their conditions.

The Development Management Institute was set up on February 13, 2014, on the lines of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand.

The institute offers two-year postgraduate programmes in development management and focuses on management programmes through experimental learning.
