The post-graduate department in computer application at Patna Women's College organised a two-day Android App Development programme on Tuesday.

The workshop was conducted by Aptech Computer Education. College principal Sister Marie Jessie appreciated the efforts of the students and MCA faculty members.

Worthwhile Gases Private Limited, an all women venture, has entered into a master franchise alliance with MK Manohar company to strengthen its presence in the state. Seema Jain, director of WGPL said this during a news meet organised at a city hotel on Tuesday. She added: "The collaboration will help WGPL to penetrate into the state's market as a parallel marketer of non-subsidised LPG cylinders."

St. Karen's High School, Gola Road, in collaboration with Institute of Counsellor Training Research and Consultancy (ICTRC), New Delhi, organised a regional summit of school principals on "ManagingAcademicProblemsinChangingSocio-EducationalScenario" on the school premises on Tuesday.

Nearly 100 delegates from the region participated in the summit. Renowned educational psychologist and director general of ICTRC, V.S. Ravindran, headed the panel of experts.
