Patna, Aug. 17: Students had a field day today to showcase their knowledge and debating skills.
Students from six schools — Notre Dame Academy, Don Bosco Academy, DPS Patna, Radiant International School, Prarambhika and St M.G. Public School — participated in the 5th Annual Inter-School Debate and Quiz Competition organised by Prarambhika School at Digha.
Six teams with four students each took part in the quiz competition, which was divided into six rounds followed by a rapid fire round. Delhi-based Tanuj Choudhary conducted the quiz competition. Prarambhika School won the quiz contest and Don Bosco Academy was declared the runner-up.
Ten students displayed their debating skills by speaking in favour or against the motion — Pre-trial publicity and ongoing media coverage.
Notre Dame Academy and Prarambhika School were declared the winners.
Harshita of Prarambhika School was adjudged the best speaker and Oman Iqbal of Radiant International School was declared the most promising speaker. Aishani Srivastava of Notre Dame Academy was adjudged the most convincing speaker.
