Former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi inspects the stage on the eve of his much-awaited Gareeb Swabhiman Rally at Gandhi Maidan on Monday. Accompanied by former ministers Narendra Singh, Mahachandra Singh and Brishen Patel, he closely watched the arrangements at the venue. Manjhi accused chief minister Nitish Kumar of conspiring to ensure that his rally flopped by not providing administrative support. Manjhi claimed if at least 5 lakh supporters did not attend his rally, he would quit politics. He warned the government officials that Nitish would not remain chief minster forever and the next government could not be formed without his support. The Hindustani Awam Morcha founder asked people not to depend on the administration on Monday and announced the deployment of volunteers to ensure a successful rally.
