
Chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi with the new Chief Justice of Patna High Court, L Narasimha Reddy, in Raj Bhavan on Friday. Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi administered the oath. Manjhi, his cabinet colleagues, several judges, senior advocates and officials of the high court were present. Born on August 1, 1953 in an agricultural family at Gavicherla village of Warangal district of Telangana, Justice Reddy completed BSc from CKM College in Warangal. He obtained his bachelors' degree as well as the masters' degree in law (international law) from Osmania University. He enrolled himself as an advocate with the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh in 1979 and was elevated as an additional judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh on September 10, 2001.
