Purnea, May 9: Bihar Congress leaders on Thursday chose the party’s Ittehad and Dhanyavad rally to attack chief minister Nitish Kumar for his alleged pseudo-secular politics.
“Nitish Kumar is actually trying to run with the hares and hunt with hounds. He is trying to show Muslims that he believes in secular politics but that is not true at all. On one hand, Nitish is criticising Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi while on the other, he is sharing power with the BJP. This exposes his politics of secularism,” said Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Ashok Choudhary.
Choudhary, addressing a gathering of around 10,000 people at Zila High School ground, tried to convince people, who had come from four districts of the Seemanchal area as to how the UPA-led central government helped the state by funding health, education, MGNREGA, roads, Indira Awaas Yojana plans and other schemes.
