Patna: A high court division bench on Wednesday directed the recently constituted three-member committee to submit its report on whether good quality materials were being used or not for the construction of Jai Prakash Narayan All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Phulwarisharif. he court passed the direction while hearing a PIL filed by Council for Protection of Public Rights and Welfare.

Exam date

Patna: A high court division bench on Wednesday directed Sanskrit Shiksha Board to postpone the ‘Madhyama’ examination (equivalent to matriculation) and announce a fresh date.

Student missing

Patna: A Class IX student of Lakhisarai Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amit Kumar, (14), has been missing from school since April 23. School authorities reported the matter to Barhaiya police on Wednesday.

Tax return

Patna: Filing e-returns and paying taxes using e-payment would be compulsory for traders in inter-state trade from this fiscal irrespective of the tax they pay to commercial taxes department. This was decided at a meeting held on Wednesday chaired by deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi.
