Patna: Bihar Staff Selection Commission on Thursday anno- unced the results of 16,497 candidates who have cleared the first graduate-level preliminary examination, 2010. rabha Singh from Nalanda has topped the examination with 479 out of 596 marks.

Power off

Patna: The Karbigahiya power sub- station and 33KV Pesu I and II feeders will be shutdown from 11.30am-4pm for maintenance work on Friday, said Bihar State Electricity Board spokesperson H.R. Pandey.

Thieves held

Patna: Two thieves were arrested on Thursday for stealing 29 motorcycles from the Karbigahiya end of Patna Junction. Two bikes have been recovered from the duo.

Raid

Patna: A police rifle, 9mm pistol and 25 cartridges were seized and four persons arrested during a raid at Satsa village in Rohtas district on Thursday.

Patna: Students of a private coaching institute went on the rampage on Thursday and paralysed traffic for several hours in Ara on Thursday in protest against the murder of the institute’s proprietor.
